50 & 75W DC/DC Converters with Railway Specifications
With the new MTQZ series MINMAX launches a family of high performance, convection cooled dc-dc converter modules designed to meet the rigorous standards required for railway applications. They comply with railway standard EN50155(IEC751) and EMC standard EN50121-3-2. The converters are available in two power ranges with 50W and 75W models and input voltages of either 72VDC or 110VDC. The modules come in a compact metal case with isolated baseplate.
For improved heat dissipation they can be supplied with an additional heatsink. Advanced circuit topologyprovide a very high efficiency up to 92%. The products feature reinforced insulation of 3000VACrms, remote on/off control, under-voltage shutdown as well as overload and over-temperature protection. High EMC immunity, reinforced insulation and safety approval to IEC/UL/EN 60950-1 qualify these converters also for other demanding industrial applications .
